Sky Digital Media to increase video advertising product portfolio

Sky Digital Media has signed a deal with Adjustables, a specialist in in-video advertising, to integrate a new range of innovative ad opportunities around Sky’s video inventory.   The deal sees a wide variety of new online ad formats becoming available in addition to pre-rolls and takeovers, including picture-in-picture (or streaming within streaming), traditional banner formats, logos and bugs, and ticker text. 
 
The Adjustables platform will initially be rolled out across Sky Sports, Sky News, Sky Showbiz, Sky Travel, Sky Motoring and Sky Style, as well as a selection of 3rd party sites.  Repurposed and bespoke video is already fully embedded across the Sky portal and growing month-on-month.  Video ad impressions also continue to increase proportionally - since January 2008, Sky Sports has recorded 8.75 million paid for video ad impressions, with Sky News achieving over 4.75 million impressions.

A dedicated online and mobile ad sales house, Sky Digital Media represents over 180 websites, including all of Sky’s owned websites and portal and major 3rd parties such as Sony BMG, the Football League, ASOS and Baby Centre. Included within Sky’s portal are established sites such as Sky.com, Skysports.com, sky.com/news as well as more recently launched sites such as Sky Motoring, Sky Travel and Sky’s entertainment portal, which is currently in beta testing.
